Sorry to trouble you good folks. Please ID the birds for me.

(A) Gadwall duck?
(B) Don't know.
(C) Sparrow? What type?

Yes, first is male (or an extremly old female ghosting male plumage?Joern, please help!) Gadwall, everything is there
Second is a Mallard, white stripe (ghosting speculum of a Gadwall) is sometimes present, often during moult time (and when wings are growing in 1 cy birds). Female Gadwall has greyer plumage, many have distinct different markings to individual feathers and the orange part of the bill is more extensive (often as bicoloured bill with orange lower half.
Third is an adult female House Sparrow
