I guess a clicker could be helpful. I don't think it is that interesting that I am getting a different count - I am not counting leaves !Out of interest and for the record when I have had the opportunity to do a repeat count with perched Waxwing flocks in the field my count is always equal to or better than 95% accurate - in science that is usually considered good enough !I still prefer counting in situ - photographs are not contextual and may not be representative or even misleading IMO. If one photo shows the whole flock clearly, then absolutely fair enough.Lindsay</blockquote>
