Overcast at the moment. just dull, but mild at the same time.

Funny old nondescript day weather wise. I took advantage of the mild weather and put up 2 new feeders & several fat balls all given to me in a secret santa gift from work. Also topped up the old feeders giving the Birds a banquet!
The first to visit was a pair of Nuthatch! Tidy!

Weather is the same as yesterday, grey, dull, cloudy, but dry. slightly colder than it has been though, today.

Bright, and cheery here today. A bit colder though than yesterday. :t:

Been for a short walk, and it was quite pleasant. It remains so at the moment. Had a warm jacket on though! :t:

A lovely fresh and sunny start to Boxing Day! A day for a good walk, which is what I am going to do today.

A flock of L.T.Tits where in the garden yesterday along with 4 Blue Tits!

Beautiful day! Strong NE wind, but gloriously sunny. Just got back from a walk with OH and the dog and it has certainly blown away some cobwebs.

Saw a large flock of Fieldfares while we were out and got back to find the Blackcap on the back table with the chaffies!

Looking good so far, and after all that food yesterday - it is great weather for a walk or two :-O

Brrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!! Freezing cold this morning! The East North Easterly wind is making it feel rather chilly!

9 Blackbirds on the lawns this morning before I put out the ground food.

Gosh, what a really white, freezing, cold, harsh frost this morning

The birds are telling me how cold it is without me going out at all. :eek!:

For the past three days we have had very low temps of about 2c - in fact this afternoon was 1c - with deep blue skies and sunshine. All quite lovely.

-1c early this morning! The sun is now shining but it is still very cold outside.

Blackbirds were waiting for their brekkie again this morning along with 2 squirrels!

It started out very cloudy & no sun, but cleared to blue sky & sunshine. It's very cold though with a high wind chill. The pond has ice in it but only round the shallow edges. I defrosted the birds waters

Same as yesterday but with rather more haze in the background. Forecast is for more to come and with possibly more gentle breezes.

D U L L dull as the dance expert said, not a glimpse of sun all day and a chilly NE wind. Temp was and still is 3C.

Very bright, and sunny today. Still clear skies remained all day long. Taken a couple of shots of the sunset we had and I will post before the end of tonight.

Now I feel that the frost is descending on us once more, and it is going to be a cold night coming up.

I noticed that the Blackbirds remained in the garden for longer than usual today. When they where not moving about on the lawn, they sat in the nearby trees looking in the kitchen windows.

Wonder what the Blackbirds where trying to tell me! :eek!:
