The birds were caught and moved into the central hall and cages / carriers were covered with blankets. Niko, the Green-cheek Conure was VERY upset and screaming before the weather hit. He seemed to feel the drop in atmospheric pressure. He was put into a cat carrier and placed in the bathtub with a blanket over him. LOL! Niko was in the safest place in the house!We got high wind for about 5 minutes and heavy rain but it was kinda sunny too. ??? REALLY spooky skies and the leaves are absolutely still before and after.There's still lots of tornados popping up south and east of us now. The guy who's an assistant at the animal hosp. in the line of one of those severe storms. :-/This morning the weather person said we'd get some heavy rain today but nothing major. She also added NO TORNADOS to worry about today.  GUARANTEED!  Well, .... she was really wrong wasn't she?!?!?Another funnel cloud just sighted.The TV station is showing all their radar thingies and keep saying that Dancing with the Stars and LOST will be seen in their entirety once the weather schtuff is done. They must be getting complaints about their interruption of the TV shows. I don't watch either show but think that alerting people about potential dangerous weather is more important than TV.I guess the excitement for Camp Nappy is done.... For the moment. The weather people say things might flare up later.  ~yippee~Hope all is happily boring for you.</blockquote>
