Message: <blockquote data-quote="Gill Osborne" data-source="post: 1827252" data-attributes="member: 143965">Yesterday *Thursday* was hot, hot, HOT!!!!  Too hot for me :-O    It hit around 23 degrees in Alnwick and was pretty muggy at times too :smoke:    Had a lovely walk down to the Canongate Bridge with Neil at 9.30pm to collect some bramble leaves for our stick insects - it was SO mild and not a breath of wind :king:      Much the same now at 5.40am - clear blue skies, sunshine and all our windows open because it's really mild.  The birds sound fabulous out the back - wrens, collared dove, blackbird, chaffinch :t:</blockquote>
