Heavy frost first thing again. The back garden didn't defrost at all yesterday, and I suspect it won't defrost today either. Got to the dizzy heights of 3c now. Still, there is sunshine and blue skies, so all is good! :D

A clear and frosty start, clouded over by lunchtime and it's been raining since about 3 this afternoon. Feels much colder than the 7C earlier suggests.

The only good thing about the grey skies today was seeing silhouettes of nesting Herons just beyond the supermarket carpark.

Lovely wildfowl images Pam.

Grey, wet, 5C. Not a trace of the white stuff, but some of the muddy stuff now. Shucks it looks like I've missed my chance to build a snowman Pam ;). Nice pic Pie. Having a heronry near the supermarket must make going shopping something to look forward to. My nearest is a good few miles away and then they are 300yds from the nearest viewing point.

hi Sue

Love your silhouettes of your Heron. A rare sight to see in a supermarket car park. Must make it a joy to shop for you.

Hi Roy

The white stuff has gone for you Roy. As you say you like snow, and it adds to the delights of birding and seeing sights that you have never seen before.

If you did not have to work you would have been able to build a snowman and have snowball fights too LOL ;)

Dull, and wet here this morning though the temperature has risen, and it is not as cold as it has been. Sun is trying to come out at the moment too. :gh:

Cannot really complain as the last 2 days here have been really sunny, and has brought an opportunity to go for some walks and do a bit of bird watching. :-O

Bright and breezy after a very wet and windy night. Temperature is around 8C but feels much less. More rain on the cards for tonight....:-C

High cloud, 3C. Just the regulars, I'd better get counting. OK then Pam & Kathy. The next chance I get I'll make a small snowman. I have a blacky who loves to perch on my stone otter. It would make a nice pic if I could get it to perch on a little snowman. Clearly no one could get in yesterday. I spent an hour reading about how to sort out DNS problems, and gave up with an aching head in the end |:S|.

Roy, I won't forget your words! I am like an elephant and never forget! Looking forward to seeing your snowperson with Blackbird on top!:-O

A sharp frost early this morning! A wonderful sunny day now!

Plenty of regulars in the garden!
