Grey at the moment but I can see some patches of blue and sunshine coming through. I think the forecast was for it to clear today which would be great as it's been very very dull and dingy here recently!

Quite cold though, only about 3 degrees at the moment and a cold breeze blowing. Has been 7-8 degrees in my garden over the last few days and it was warm enough that I sat outside with a book for a while yesterday!

Grey and overcast to start, but the sun came through at about 11 and it is a pretty day now.

It feels as if it's freezing here, well it is only just above. Suddenly it has gone very cold again. Coudy & grey, the sky is a very funny colour too.

Very cold here too - still above freezing (was about 2-3 degrees when I looked at the thermometer in my garden) but a rather biting breeze. The ground is frozen fairly solid and there is a lot of ice about - approaching 1cm of ice on top of the water in the tiny gulley I tromped through this morning, standing on one leg on the muddy bottom as I broke the ice with my other foot I was aware that if I slipped I'd be VERY cold! Fortunately the little bit of water is only around 20cm deep at most but I would definitely have got soaked through. I think next time I'll go around!

The large boggy areas on the meadow here were covered in ice and there was also a bit of ice on the river amongst the reeds here, just in the more sheltered patches though. Have seed the odd flake of snow and early this morning had a short shower of tiny ice balls, snow that had mostly melted and then refrozen.

I did think it wasn't freezing, but on going out to fill water bowls, bird bath & pond, it is. There was a thin layer of ice on the pond at the edge & on the bird bath.

A glorious day, full sun, very few clouds. The wind was blooming keen though!

Variable cloud, some sunshine, but a bitter and strong cold wind. Made my cheeks glow when I was walking!

Lots of rain in the night. Blue skies and sunshine now. Breezy. 4.5°c.

A very chilly wind with strong gusts. Some sun, but lots of dark cloud too, it has been trying to snow, sleety small stuff, short flurries that don't last. Apart from in the wind, it doesn't feel that cold out.

Have had overcast and cold, bright sun and blue skies and hailstorms... been a bit of a mix!

We had a 15 minute blizzard! Very heavy snow, blowing horizontally, and laying. Grrrrrr.

Woke to a thin layer of white this morning which had frozen, seems we haven't lost Winter after all. It's jolly cold.

Freezing morning, -5c, I thought the sun would warm things up a bit, but it's clouded over & trying to snow at the moment.
