A cloudy and mild start to the day!

2 Greenfinch in the garden this morning, the most for weeks, normally I have been getting 1 on a hop and a catch!

Different shades of grey (just) this morning, breezy, 6C. A couple of Goldies have brightened my start this morning. Greenies seem to be in short supply Pam. Gone are the days when I used to get a dozen. Maybe we've not had many migrants this winter.

A wonderful sunny morning! The wind has dropped and it looks set to be a lovely Spring like day!

A Dunnock singing sweetly was lovely to hear this morning!:t:

It looks absolutely gorgeous outside - sunny, light breeze, clear blue skies and there's a blue tit singing away outside the living room window.

Last day of my holiday today :-C So I'm going to get myself out for a few hours and make the most of it.

Forgot to tell you all on Friday about my fabulous trip to Holy Island & Stag Rocks - saw a few lovely birds like fulmar, gannet etc and three PORPOISE swimming just off Stag Rocks for over twenty minutes :t: They were only approx 100yds offshore and I kept pointing them out to folks walking by :-O One couple had been up here for two weeks and were heading home on Saturday and they were thrilled to bits to see real wild dolphins o:) Also had my very first Slavonian Grebe just coming into breeding plumage too!

You get SUCH a buzz sharing wildlife with folks, don't you! :king:

Weather was beautiful today. It was very warm, and very sunny.

We have not had a day like this for a long time now. We had nothing planned to go with it though, sadly o:)

An absolutely beautiful day here today. Like Summer, even hot enough to take off coat & fleece & to walk about out in the fresh air in t shirt & jeans. It was lovely not to be all bundled up against the weather. The car boot sales were heaving with sellers & buyers.

Oh how I agree, Val!! I think that the trouble with the weather over the last few months is that it has made life hard work. Even simply going out to feed the birds or to the freezer in the garage needed jackets, gloves and stout footwear. Today was a great pleasure weather wise, dry, warm and sunny, even the birds sounded happier.

It's grey and overcast today with a light shower. First bit of rain for ages :king:

First day back at work for me today after a lovely week off *yuck* :smoke: Thankfully I'm on my day off on Thursday so only three days to work until I'm free again LOL

A lovely sunny day!

The Blue Tits are chasing the LTT's away from the feeders today! They have lived in harmony this last week or so!
