Webcam Birding List 2025 (1 Viewer)

My plan to concentrate on British cameras yesterday soon went out the window, as a little frustration set in due to the amount of cameras switched off. I ended up drifting into Denmark, then Holland before finding the little gold mine that is Urdaibai in Spain. I am back there this morning, and it is still producing the goods with

82) Gadwall
83) Little Grebe
84) Pochard
85) Grey Heron
86) Northern Shoveler

Three entries from Poland take the total to 100. Still lots of low lying fruit out there. My bird ID skills are now starting to be stretched, but it is proving to be an educational exercise.

100) Hawfinch

A first contribution from Norway

101) Tree Sparrow

Another from Poland

With help from the ID pages on this forum, I made an attempt at identifying some humming birds yesterday. I never realised what a large group humming birds covers. Anyway, a few IDs managed.

A couple from California off

115) Anna's Hummingbird

With three from Ecuador off

116) Brown Violetear
117) White-necked Jacobin
118) Violet-purple Coronet

Do you have a plan for how many hours you spend?? Are you recording how much effort you put in?

I guess you could almost do it 24/7 ... ;-)

No plan as such. I have a large screen at my place of work, which I can put a live camera up on. I change camera a few times a day, then at break times I will do a search for and scout through other sites. I am only at work (Offshore) three weeks out of six, so there will be periods when I will go quiet. When I am home, I'll be doing much less as I'll be chasing real birds.
