There's a certain hide at a reserve near Doncaster, the last three times I've been it's been full of amateur photographers, lenses longer than your arm and flashguns(!), and those louder-than-talking-whispers. Most recent visit they were obviously disturbing the birds. Seemed they were after a GSW which they immediately scared off whenever it flew to the feeders. One of the toggers, some daft old mare knowingly chuckled, 'Poor thing!', as in, isn't it funny how we frighten it off - what are we like!</p></blockquote><p></p>
