Where do buy these in Sweden?
I got the Meopro's 6.5x32 and it really has pretty good optics. As is typical of these cheaper binoculars though there is no quality control. The focus had a rough spot that felt like it had gravel in it. Maybe if you could cherry pick one of these from about 10 different binoculars you could find one that was decent. The quality control is just like the Chinese binoculars meaning none. If you have the money to buy an alpha don't waste your time messing around with these. They will just waste your time and cause you aggravation. The only reason to buy them is because that is what you can afford. It's too bad too because the optics are really pretty good. I sent them back. I am keeping the Canon's 10x30 IS so far. I am intrigued by the 6x and 7x magnification though. It is relaxing and pleasant to use.
The Meopro's didn't impress me that much. Even though the FOV is supposed to be 440 feet it just doesn't look like it is that wide. For example the Swaro 8x32 EL looks a lot wider. The Viper HD 6x had much better optics than the Meopro with the HD glass. The Viper HD 6x is the best 6x I have looked through but the BIG problem with it is the eyecups aren't long enough for the ER but the 8x doesn't share that problem. So you can't put your eyes into the eyecups you end up holding them back from you eyes which is intolerable to me. I sold my Swaro 8x32 EL's because for me the eyecups were a little short so I would get blackouts and I have decided I like the realistic 3D view through the porro's better than the flat larger image scale of the roof's. I picked up the Canon 10x30 IS and the Canon 12x36 IS II and they are nice because you can see more detail. You can criticize the Canon's all you want for not being waterproof and the optics not quite being alpha and the 3mm EA not being as bright but the bottom line is you see more detail on the bird with the higher magnification and the image stabilization and the 12x only weighs 23 oz. Light for a 12x and 12x is a new world for seeing detail let me tell you. You can see the bird winking at you. It is nice to have an almost tripod steady image on the bird while handholding also. For general birding I like my porro's. I have the Nikon 8x32 SE, Nikon 8x30 EII and the Swaro Habicht 8x30.
What is that on the far left? It looks huge.I know :t::t:

What are these? Are they stabilized? It says they take a battery.

Did you take the picture of that landscape in thread 981 through one of your big binoculars? You know, "digiscoped" it?

Were the chromatic aberrations visible (i see plenty on your picture) or is it the old phone objective adding this effect?
