I think that Kate is trying hard to make her presentations less irritating. (I expect she probably reads all that is written about her!) Tonight she was neither gushing nor fawning nor Head Girl and I think she rightly judged how to respond to Chris Packham without making the relationship anything other than equal. (Didn't see the ensuing programme though). Sorry to make just personal observations, when we are discussing the content of each programme, but could someone please inform Simon King that baldness is not unattractive in men, and that by covering his head at every opportunity he just seeks to pinpoint the fact that he is not comfortable with the disappearance of hair growth on this particular part of his anatomy! (For me the cap/bobble, worn on nearly every occasion, is equal in irritation to the "comb-over" or "rug" (wig) on the head.) Thank you for providing more interest and information than in previous years' programmes. But again a very enjoyable programme. I enjoyed being told and shown the difference between the 3 warblers and the chiff chaff. Possibly on another occasion the footage of each bird could also be shown with its name also written on the screen.... for all of us slow-learners who need visual reminders!
