What Egret is this, Goolwa Barrage, South Australia, 20/01/22 (1 Viewer)

Smaller than a Great Egret, one of which showed up later, but seems larger than a Little Egret....

Possibly Intermediate, or is it just a juvenile?

Great egret (gape length). Judging the size of a lone bird is notoriously unreliable. Juvenile birds are not typically significantly smaller than adults.

Thanks everyone, the only reason I though maybe an intermediate was eBird (I know, but I'm new at this!) reported sightings of an intermediate Egret in the area, so it cast doubt in my mind.
