What Spring Migrants have you seen so far, 2022 (1 Viewer)

After my first post today, a later walk near the beach, got me my first ever Ruppell's Warbler. They are noticebly Long-tailed and when I first saw it move in the shadow of the bush, it really had me confused until it hopped out in to the open.

Nightingale and Lesser Whitethroat added at Pulborough Brooks this morning, also Willow and Reed Warbler as well as many Blackcaps so intent on chasing each other that they completely neglected the presence of birders. Great views.

Sunday mornings mean my main local patch. 3 additions today-finally caught up with a singing Willow Warbler (amazing how scarce these have become in recent years) 6 Common Whitethroat & a Cuckoo flying in front of me before calling a couple of times out of sight.

2 males collared flycatchers today. We seem to have a bit of an influx in Corsica, many have been reported this week!

Also seen a warbler sp. today...either icterine or melodious. It didn't sing and I saw it too briefly but it seems to me that I saw a pale wing patch which would be more icterine like. Not sure though.
