It drives me to distraction that a Great Soptted cuckoo is in cornwall. A long long drive for one bird! where is the enjoyment in that? Well its the pleasure/pain theory. It might not be relaxed birding but it gives you a real buzz and immense pleasure if you connect. Although i bizarrely do not feel bad if something crops up on the Scillies or Shetland, because i know its more than just a drive away.Its a difficult one really, as you will probably find out in due course. You can become decidedly stale with seeing your 500th Curlew. Each to their own of course!</blockquote>
