Hi All, Nice to have another read of what's happening in everyones gardens and to see the pics. Things picked up in mine yesterday. Maybe it was the occasional bit of blue sky. Had some colour provided by baby Goldfinches begging food off mum (?). I wonder if that's your mystery bird Pie. I can't see any yellow but it looks to have black and white wing tips. More colour was provided by a couple of Blue Tits, some Greenfinches, a Great Tit, and a Coal Tit doing it's acrobatics. Magpies were coming for the Jackdaw's dog biscuits. The local Jackies just won't come down from the roof. Together with my usual squabbling Starlings, cheerful House Sparrows and regular visits from Collard Doves it seemed a busy garden. Just normal birds but good for me. Star visitor of the day was my Hedgehog who has been leaving his/her calling cards for weeks but only revealed itself yesterday. After a bit of encouragement from me it posed a few times and then was put back in the long grass where I found it.
