Rain overnight but a sunny and blue sky day now. However, I think it might rain later. Lots more activity this morning in the garden with the usual magpies and woodpigeons joined by blue tits, blackbirds and a robin.

Bright and breezy, rain has held off so far. Quite chilly at just 14C this pm. Has made no difference to the garden visitors, only the Starling gang and a few Goldies today. Keep hearing the Robin, but not seen it in my garden.

Hi Dafi,

OK down here thanks. Missing you elsewhere though.......had any good sunsets recently? Can you despatch some Robins this way please, they are few and far between at the moment! Think that I may have seen an early Fieldfare on the hills at the back end of last week, but couldn't be sure.

Gorgeous autumnal day with sunshine and blue sky, but only 10.3c. Usual magpies and woodies strutting round the lawn.

A clear night and bright sunny morning has brought the first frost for us.

Rain is forecast for Northern parts of Scotland, falling as snow on the mountain tops!

Brrrr...Delia

That is something I do not miss since moving is the colder climes of Scotland.

Weather is milder in Bedford

Blowin in a bit from the north here damp and cold.

We have had robins about all week. Afew Redwings as well.

Hi Wendy how you doin/

hi Dafi

Again as with Delia the weather of bonny Scotland is a 'wee' bitty too cold at this time of the year. :eek!:
Only worn my fleece today for the first time this year.

Still is a little colder than normal in Bedford today with chilly winds and cloudy looking. A short burst of rain a short ago while on my 2 hour walk but no harm caused.

The leaves are falling and the trees are changing colour now so Autumn is here to stay for a while.

Strange feeling of the dark nights heading in once more. :eek!:

How is everyone doing?

It's blowing a hooley, hissing down and, guess what?....the birds are back! Already had blackies, starlings, blue tit, goldfinch, sparrows and woodies, and I've only been up an hour!! Long may it continue.;)

We have the wind and rain - rain and more rain, then wind and rain together at the moment.

A day for staying in today - me thinks. :-C

The birds are hiding here at the moment. :eek!:

It's a beautiful Fall day, about 10 C but bright sunshine and no wind. I lit the wood stove yesterday for the first time this year and it's going again today. It makes the family room very cosy.

Hissed down all night and most of the morning. However, it has stopped just now and there is a brightness in the sky. I expect the rain will start again soon though - the forecast for my area this week is wet, wet, wet!

Hi all
I have been of the board for awhile due to this changeing weather that as played
havoc with my arthritic knee's, yesterday sunday was the best day for weeks even the birds came out to play, goldfinch/gt/tits/ greenfinch/and one lone robin, back to cloudy sky grey&dull.

All the best everyone keep healthy
