Where have all the birds gone? (1 Viewer)

Hi - my name is Jill Forsyth and I live in Gala. Is there anything going on with local birds? The flock of sparrows living for years in bushes below my window have disappeared, none to be heard up in Policies even local crows have gone. I know it’s late autumn but seems weird. Anyone else have any concerns

Hi Jill and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

While I've not, yet, become concerned, there certainly are fewer birds around than I'd expect with the weather getting colder. There's certainly more birds coming to the garden than there were a month ago.

All things Scottish can be found here. Keep an eye on threads titled Scottish Bashes, we usually have one or two meetings each year and they're all great fun.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
