Hi Sue I thank you once more for your link. I am sure that all the areas in the UK have their own 'special' bird groups. Still good to find more information from other people as you have to me. Yes, the X-Beebs are serious birders, but I thought more lightweight discussions are more appropriate for the X-Beeb Forum. If we all want to get into more serious debates I am all for that anyday. So you have my vote here. Maybe a suggestion is that we change to the format of this Forum to suit new up to date ideas! As for the bandwidth, I used to be able to add 'here' quotes from URL, but I am scratching my head how to do it now. Love for someone to explain, and I will use the facility as a shortcut on the X-Beebs Hi Bill My thoughts too. An interesting post about your recent endeavers is good to read and well worth posting anyday. If the weather is cold, wet, and yuk so be it, but each posting and report is unique, and that makes X-Beebs interesting in its own right. hi Val It is nice to hear others views about the X-Beebs forum and I know that you love to read all postings as you do and like you say you have no need to answer everything. Same here, so I know where you are coming from. Yes, the larger board is daunting and it is a question of fitting in the areas that suit your own birding needs and requirements Personally: I know one of my 'naughty' habits is to forget to answer posts with 'thanks' for posting because I overload my mind with too many posts (and too many Forums too) So if I ever forget to post please tell my by PM or otherwise Sometimes (though it is rare now) I forget to set up the 'automatic emails' to yes, so I forget the post all together until it appears some time later. I try not to do that though as it is not fair on others. ;)
