[QUOTE="mooreorless, post: 1739049, member: 28262"] Hi Rich, Without rubbing it in,;-) it is sunny here today and going above freezing today. Maybe this will help Frank feel a little better. My neighbor plowed some roads in my field for the local deer yesterday and I thought I would look later that night and sort of test some binoculars I have. Even with the snow I couldn't make out any deer and I don't think there were any there. I did this inside my house in the warm with the door close and no lights on. Nikon 8x32LX, Swarovski 8x30SLCneu, ZenRay 7x36 ED2 and Nikon 12x50SE. The 12 had the best view and between the two 8's and the 7 the 7 was more pleasing at shorter distance. The picture is an little older one but shows where I am talking about. What looks like lanes are places I mow in the summer with cover around too make the deer feel safe, where the field snow was plowed is behind single tree at the end of the one mowed row.It was very dark that day. Second picture same area in the fall, boy the first picture is sort of depressing and why I add the next one.;) Regards, Steve Edit: I walked down to the plowed areas today and there were no deer tracks yet?
