I haven't lived in a desert for 50 years, and Debbie never has. Seventeen below certainly is an attention getter.I've been put out to pasture, but Debbie is still working. To come here, she had to give up her high school Spanish teaching to teach 3rd grade. She is making $30,000 less than in western Washington and is working longer hours, days, and getting fewer days off. Oh, and did I mention the mandatory meetings she has to attend each week . . . for which she doesn't get paid, or that if she works on a project that is less than 34 hours long, she doesn't get a penny?I have never had much sympathy for people who move from location "A" to location "B" only to bellyache that location "B" is not like location "A." However, what these people expect for their paltry salary is, from my standpoint, criminal. School Administration here danced around certain issues until a house had been purchased and an 800-mile move had taken place.These people can squeeze an eagle off a quarter!The book should be ready to go into InDesign sometime withing the next couple of months. :cat:Cheers,Bill</blockquote>
