Hi everybody. Can you tell which species of hawk this is, even though the picture is from the back? Thank you in advance.

This is a Red-shouldered Hawk. Note the strong rufous coloration on the breast, and the black and white checkered wings.

Thank you for the ID. I thought maybe it was a RSH, as I hear their "Keeya Keeya Keeya" calls all the time. But I had never before identified one by sight, up here in Massachusetts. I've done so many times in Florida, where they are very pale looking.
