Which New England Shorebird? (1 Viewer)

I saw this bird today on the southern tip of Plum Island, Newbury, Massachusetts. Can you tell me what it is and how you arrived at your conclusion?

Stop Brexit!
Ditto to Dunlin - longer bill than other Calidris waders, while the bill being curved down excludes other genera of waders like Tringa species.

Thank you both; I would have said Dunlin if it had been slouched as usual but this was far more erect than normal; it looked taller than usual

Ya know I don't think I've ever seen one standing this tall and proud looking either ;)
