(The emended spelling is certainly not in prevailing usage.)As an unjustified emendation, <a href="http://biodiversitylibrary.org/item/95242#page/510/mode/1up" target="_blank">mesopotamiae Ticehurst, 1922</a>, is an available name, which is an objective junior synonym of <a href="http://biodiversitylibrary.org/item/18480#page/359/mode/1up" target="_blank">mesopotamia Ticehurst, 1918</a>. This means that it could be used in replacement of the senior synonym if the latter was found invalid for any other reason (but until this happens, as a junior synonym, it is itself invalid); and it would make any later-proposed "mesopotamiae" invalid in the genus in which it is classified.(As an incorrect subsequent spelling, it would have no nomenclatural standing whatsoever.)</blockquote>
