White-tailed eagle? Cottbus, Germany (1 Viewer)

Well-known member
Can someone confirm our ID of a White-tailed Eagle, over meadows near Cottbus, Germany today? Distant and poor lighting conditions, unfortunately, but I'm moderately confident based on the shape! Thanks.

I hope it's OK to add another bird to this thread, as it's the same location and same question -- confirmed whte-tailed eagle? Taken this morning from my window in Cottbus, Germany.

My only doubt is that the bird guide pictures suggest that light head indicates adult, in which case should there be more white visible on the tail?
