Wild flower ID England (1 Viewer)

Could not find this in our books. It is a small single flower on a long stem. The size of the flower may be assessed by the greenbottle feeding from it.

It's a collection of flowers rather than a single flower - great burnet - or redknobs, as my mum used to call it in her childhood, way back in the days when poorly-drained fields were the norm and it was common.
