Hey guys and gals, I am the chap in question and found this threads totally by accident! It is true that I convert and restore episodes that are sometime sent to me, but the bulk of what I share come from hunting down copies of VHS tapes, DVD (and sometime 16mm reel) and do my own transfers most of the times. It is part of a big Attenborough Preservation Project I have been doing for the past 3 years at least. I wanted to stop by and tell that anyone should feel free to contact me if they have any episodes that are missing! Right now, among all the recordings I have collected and the dozen or so that I have transferred myself, I have about 195 out 253 episodes and I am always on the lookout for any missing episodes with the hope of completing the series and making sure it is easily accessible for anyone interested. I am also looking at upgrading episode that have recording available in lower resolution or with image or sound issues.
The message of Raphael Matias has me pretty excited as several episodes from the mentioned seasons are missing. If you have any of those, I would be very interested in chatting with you! The episodes from these seasons you have mentioned that are completely missing and have no recording available as of now are the following:

I have a pretty good setup to transfer VHS. I do not transfer in the conventional way but use a special system that let me capture the RF signal recorded on the magnetic tape and then decode it in software on the computer after. It give very good result and produce a stable image and it can sometime salvage tapes that no longer play well in normal player.
