Wood sandpiper? Central Scotland (1 Viewer)

I saw this bird yesterday in a ditch in saltmarsh in Central Scotland. It similar build to a redshank but slightly daintier and maybe very slightly longer-legged (possibly smaller overall but hard to judge). In the first picture, I could imagine the bill looking a bit down-curved but I didn't notice that in the field; maybe and artefact? Is this a wood sandpiper?

The decurved bill is definitely an artefact. Actually the best way to ID Greenshank is the thick bill curved upwards (the bill at the base is greenish, so there's contrast between the base and the tip):) And actually Greenshank is a bit bigger than Redshank and is more massive.
