Wood Warblers near Keswick? (1 Viewer)

I'm going to be in Keswick for a couple of nights from the 6th of June, and I'm hoping to see one of my most overdue bogey birds: Wood Warbler.

The last two times I've been in the Lakes it was a bit too early in the year for them, so I was just wondering whether anyone had any good spots for them? Near to Keswick / Derwent Water would be preferable, but don't mind going further if needed! I've tried researching it a bit on line, but haven't found much specific.

Bonus side question: any nice scenic spots in the area for Dipper? One of my favourite birds and I fancy just taking a bit of time being able to take some nice pics of them!

Bonus side question 2: On the offchance does anyone know of any good badger watching spots nearby? I know years ago when I was a kid there was one at Brother's Water, but thats probably a bit out the way!

The woods on the east of Derwent Water are a good place for Wood Warbler. Great Wood is a bit plantation-y but I have heard them there. Further south is better around Sheperds and Ashness, they are also good for redstart and pied flys. Dippers can be seen on just about any moving water, don't have a particular site in mind.

Can't help with badgers!
