Wren fledgling (1 Viewer)

The wrens on our terrace have finally flown, 4 in total. The parents have been very busy feeding the youngsters, not bothered by my wife and I sitting within 1.5 metres of the flower pot nest. One photo shows one fledgling looking a bit unsure about the outside world!
At times one parent would come to the nest with no food, but after a few moments of chat with the chicks, one would turn round, defecate, and the parent would fly off with the offering. it keeps the nest clean.
