Feb 24 TianTan(The Temple of Heaven )BeiJing
This morning I went to TianTan, and glad to see some new birder join us. So before watching birds we told them some basic knowledge about birding.(pic 1). what did the man see from the telescope (pic 2). It's the star bird of TianTan --- Long-eared Owl.(pic 3) They like to eat bats and mice.(pic 4).


the birds I see today is similar with last time(Jan 1). But have two more.

Some part of river thaws. it becomes a good place for bird drinking(of course ,for watching)
I just stay here 15min and see some good birds.

Baihe canyon ---Beijing
Today I go to Baihe canyon to find a Ibisbill. At last, I havn't seen it but I find some other birds.

We saw this Bunting at the first stop of our trip. It just stood at a tree for 5 minutes, but none of us ever saw it in the field. After excluding other similar Bunting and asking other bird watchers, we confirm it.
