Hello All,

Can anyone help identify this bird spotted in a friends garden in Warwickshire?

I assume it’s an escapee, and looks very Weaver like, any thoughts?

Yep, one of the Masked Weavers - definitely an escape. I suspect unidentifiable to species, without knowing its ultimate origin (where in Africa its ancestors were captured!) and a better resolution pic.
