Hi chaps ..

Took a trip out to Hatfield today to try to catch up with the turtle doves and woodlarks .. Managed to fail on both counts although to be fair it was a bit of a flying visit due to a lack of time and my first trip there too ...

Can anyone point me in the right direction for both please (pm's if necessary) ..

I parked at the Boston Park car park but was kinda stumped from there as regards which way I should be going ..

Thanks very much ..

Dave ..

Stonking use of language Keith. Had to look up barsinister. If memory serves, the Dutch team Feyenoord and the Chilean national team football strips use the same heraldic device.

Nice bird to have in the garden although the other birds wouldn't agree. I've got some (1aR,2R,2aS,3S,6R,6aR,7S,7aS)-3,4,5,6,9,9-hexachloro-1a,2,2a,3,6,6a,7,7a-octahydro-2,7:3,6-dimethanonaphtho[2,3-b]oxirene knocking about if that would help.

P.S. Honest guv I'm just looking after it for a mate.

Had a quick visit to north cave wetlands this afternoon after golng to blacktoft to get cracking views of marsh warbler. I was watching buzzard over the woods from south hide when i heard o commotion from the gulls on reed bed lake. I saw what i thought was a marsh harrier swoop down but when it came back up I realised it was a red kite. It swooped down again and came back up with a chick! I've never seen a bird get mobbed by so many birds, there were at least 50, probably nearer 100! it ducked and dived but still carried on, I watched through scope till it vanished over hill.
