Another great blog post, another fruitful day out as well, camera or no camera. I feel your pain- I once drove from Lanarkshire to the Sma' Glen then realised I'd left my binos in the house.

I went to Fife Ness without my bins once. Seawatching with only a camera wasn't quite so successful. I use my bins to pick up the birds & ID them as best I can (sometimes down to family only - Divers, Skuas etc) then grab some pics.
