It doesn't really matter what length your list is as long as you enjoy birding. Sure we're all at least a little bit competitive, but at the end of the day, does having a bigger list mean you're a better birder? I have a list of over 300, but I am useless at seperating Lesser and Mealy Redpolls, and don't even get me started on gulls!
Thanks that makes be feel better about my rubbish life list! :[email protected]

If it turns out to be one, yes. However, after doing some research I'm edging more towards the hybrid theory :-C
Otherwise, my rarest birds are Green Heron, Sociable Plover and White-throated Sparrow.
It says on your website:t: about "...little David at Rainham Marshes..." (that was the SP) that you've seen all those RARE birds. I'm so jealous!
Ok, I couldn't quite make that sentence make sense.

Forgot to mention I had a Peregrine over King's Lynn on the way home from school.
Here's a question; whats the best bird you've ever seen...
a) on the way to/from school
b) in or from the school grounds

One of my teachers, ex-twitcher, had a Grasshopper warbler reeling next to my school during the school assembly. He told me after the assembly and I was slightly gripped!

Wow, you guys have some great schools! Our school has a row of trees along the side which regularly hosts Great tits, Blue tits and a pair of nesting G woodies but the best bird Ive heard of at our school, which was seen by Josh Jones (an old poster) was a Little Gull on the roof.

On the way to school there are a pair of Black Swans that were released a few years back but have not been looked after and have spread around a bit to some local areas of open water, but apart from that Kingfisher, Grey Wagtail etc nothing special!

Like the photos aswell, looks like you got some good light! Tried and failed to get a decent snap of a sedge warbler the other day, and my camera is currently broken, so was borrowing a friends, have a blue tit nesting in my camera box, incubating 10 or more eggs! woo :t:

Heard 2 Groppers on one of my patches tonight which was great because the 1st one was my first for Hampshire and the 2nd one my second! Certainly seems to be a very good year for Groppers based on other people's sightings.

Also Fox, Reed and Sedge Warbler, Reed Bunting, Swallow, Cetti's, Grey Heron, Grey Wagtails which are all normal on here but why I love spring evenings!

Good game boys, good game!
I hate you Lee!!!!!!!!!!! Stoooopid sparrow!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, Shrikebirder, if you're ever in Norfolk give me or Sim a PM and we'll try and help you crank your list up a bit!

Simeon, one question - what the heck were you doing in Kings Lynn on the way back from school, thats like a 10 mile detour!
