No, not lifers (third encounter with medium-sized flocks). New for county though.

Also I had to be in New Hampshire yesterday, and the only bird of interest was a calling Barred Owl.

Just been on a pretty quiet trip to Norfolk. Will report later but the only year-ticks I managed to get were Crane and Curlew Sand.

I just got back from a 5 day long trip to the Northeastern boreal forest. You can see the report in the Vacational Trip Reports.

I'm kinda in a state of shock... this evening, I found not only a flock of at least two dozen Vaux's Swifts (lifer), but also a Mountain Chickadee (county bird) and a Western Tanager (state bird) in my neighborhood!!! crazy 'hood birds, so my 'hood list is up to 65!

neil, congratulation birds (life, country, state)! |;|
My least lifer: Tree Pipit, Ferruginous Duck and Northern Shovelers (life list: 195, Poland list: 119)

Others birds, which I've seen recently: Kingfisher, Northern Shrike, Red-backed Shrike, Buzzard, Kestrels, Bank Swallow, Gray Herons, Common Sandpipers, Moorhens, Long-tailed Tit and others (nothing interesting)

On photos: Ferruginous Duck and Northern (Great Gray) Shrike

Went to RSPB Titchwell Marsh on Saturday. It was the first time I have been birding without my parents as they went to Hunstanton. I saw 4 lifers (Spoonbill, Curlew Sandpiper, Pectoral Sandpiper & Ross's Goose) and in all 62 species.

Brendan, congratulation! Is it a young bird?

Sam, you had superb observation! Congratulation new lifer!

Yeah for some reason it's very rare to see adult Buff-breatseds there. But that's fine, since the juveniles are so much more neatly patterned and tame!

In the Summer holidays i got a total of 141 Birds!

Highlights included: Roseate tern, Spoonbill, Balearic shearwater, Sooty shearwater, etc...

Nice going! Jeez I never realized your were a YB!
