Anyone got any plans for this week? I'm hoping to get out for some summer migrants e.g. house martin and reed warbler tomorrow and am determined to see the Great Grey Shrike at waddington fell even if it kills me.

125, while wittling away time in my bedroom, answering one of the questions on Johnny's quiz, I saw a Willow Warbler flitting away in my garden. sometimes this birding lark is incredibly easy!

Another sea watch produced another 2 year ticks, Kittiwake and Sandwich Terns take me up to 140.

I forgot to post here, 137 Woodchat Shrike (images on my blog)

I saw them the other day. Fantastic photos! I would love to see a Woodchat Shrike as I have only ever seen Red-backed Shrike.

A good day up the Durham dales today and boosted the year list by three:

142 - Black Grouse
143 - Ring Ouzel
