What phenomenal days birding. Black-throated Diver (life) Great northern Diver (life) and Rock pipit at Aberdesach beach (near Caernarfon). Then to South Stack cliffs where I saw Guillemot, Razorbill, Chough, Kittiwake and a Garden Warbler. 114 please.

Sounds like a great day and that's one hell of an early Garden Warbler.

seems you had a great day CCC, and seeing a Garden Warbler already is very early! My year list is 128 now, a Whitethroat seen on my local Golf Course, along with hearing what I swear was a Turkey! Sadly they are not great transatlantic fliers, and I don't think I can really count an escpee on my list! (I'm not just repeating everything simmojunior said above, I was writing this when he must have been writing his so didn't notice)

also johnny i think you made a small mistake above, I am in 9th as far as I know but I had seen 127 species at the time of writing
