Getting frustrated with lack of year ticks recently especially with everyone else doing so well ;)

Trips planned:
Portland - 30th May for 1 week
Possibly Norfolk - August
Possibly Fair Isle - October

and Halcon the species is called Sardinian Warbler and 1 of my favourite species:t:

To answer my own question:
Lake Vyrnwy, Wales (RSPB volunteer work) end of May
other places while in wales: Anglesey
Speyside, Scotland end of June
other places while in Scotland and on way up: Leighton Moss, Isle of Mull
Loads of Seawatching: over summer
Cornwall Birding Pelagic: July 31st
might go somewhere during the summer or October 1/2 term (scillies?) but not sure

You too, Jonny? If you also go to Fair Isle, that means you, I and louisfh will all be going there in October. :-O Well done on some great birding folks. Not entirely sure if I'll be going to Speyside next weekend, but I will at some point. If the House Finch was to be accepted, Ash, that would be two mega life ticks for you in a row. Its unlikely however with all the reports of its origin.

Thanks Johnny and Rockermartin.
I've got a trip planed to the Ebro Delta and the mountains around planned. I'ts a birding trip with a friend who knows perfectly the region.
I usually go birding to my patch, which is an excellent place, a lagoon situated between the Ebro Delta and the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà where I usually get around 50 species/day.

would anyone else still be interested in a get-together over the summer holidays. It was on here not too long ago, but seems to have dropped off again. Not my original idea, (simmojunior's I belive) but could anyone else who would be interested say so, regardless of how we will organize it for now, and once it becomes apparent who would be interested we can try to sort something out perhaps?

I am still interested in the idea. Once we set a date and location, I will make a new thread. The first date I really can do is the 26th June due to my impending AS levels. Have a think for a location that is ok at that time of year and easy by public transport.

Holiday plans:
28th May onwards- Norfolk/Suffolk or Speyside
June- Possible return to Norfolk if I go to Suffolk or Speyside
July to August- West Cornwall
August- Forest of Dean, Shropshire and Wales
August September- BArcelona
October- Fair ISle? and Speyside?
