3rd bloody time i've been for that bird! Wasn't even that good've a bird when I saw it! (oh no! spoken like a true twitcher! arrgghh the dark side!)

Nothing new today but i did glance out my bedroom window this morning to see a Black Redstart sitting about 5 foot from my window, flew off before i could get camera :-C

Well done Zac, find the right area this time ;) Managed to get Jack Snipe at Marshside today amongst 80+ Common Snipe. Hoping to get Great Grey Shrike for life tomorrow o:D

I am back from the sunny glorious Menorca and i have to say that the weather here is a lot colder than what i realised before!
Anyway I have seen a lot of new birds for the year and it was an amazing experience!
It was the first time i had been abroad birdwatching!

Had a fab day with 2 lifers and an extra year tick o:D o:D check out the young birders thread to find out what I saw ;)

Up to 160 now after a trip to the scillies having added Yellow-browed Warbler Lesser Redpoll and Grey Wagtail also looked back at my list and noticed id missed GBB Gull and miscounted by 2!

It would be really worth the trip if you did!! Im about to go back up to see it again as i want some pics and the weather was not great earlier this morning. Will report back...

First Waxwings of the invasion today for me with 70+ at Barrow in Lancashire, photos on blog in the next few days o:D
