young Lammergeier ? French Alps (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I need a confirmation about this distant bird, seen at 3000m in Savoie, France, 2 weeks ago.
For once I thought it could be an Egyptian Vulture, but now think it's a Lammergeier/Bearded Vulture (never know which one is the correct name)

Yes GD, it’s an immature Gypaète ! Personally I always use Lammergeier as its English language name

Going by Forsman about 3.5 to 4 years old. I always use Lammergeier rather than Bearded Vulture too. Better captures the uniqueness of the species and it's the name I grew up with (albeit it was called both for long before then).
