New book or re-hash of an old one? Looking at some of the sample photos on that link, it seems to be the same Tony Tilford who, 35-odd years ago, used to specialise in photos of birds held captive in garishly-lit boxes containing bits of vegetation. I thought that era had passed ☹️

Birds of China

scheduled for October 2023

by Yang Liu and Chen Shuihua

There is a new collaboration by Joseph Forshaw and Frank Knight (this time not about parrots):

Quail, Buttonquail and Plains-wanderer in Australia and New Zealand

(might be a contender of the Whitley Award of the RZSNSW in Autumn 2023)

What a nasty comment.

This is a nice little guide for non-specialists that supersedes Tony's book of a similar title that was published about 15 years ago.

Photographs and text revised and updated throughout.

It's perhaps the English language version of this book?

The Snow leopard is the most enigmatic big cat in the World.

This is long overdue. I have waited so long for a publication, especially because the 3rd edition has been out of print for years.
