Well not really a "lifer"(since it is just a well-marked subspecies), but I had my first Harlan's Hawk yesterday on a local Audubon trip.

Just got back from Ecuador where I got 155 lifers. The last one was a Stout-billed Cinclodes at Papallacta Pass.

Great bird to finish your trip Jeff!.... a couple of my pictures from this bird attached, enjoy!

Capercaillie - scared the crap out of me! Even though I was hoping to see one, I never expected it.

Self-found boreal chickadee, they seem to be moving south in signifigant number this year, at least 8 that I know of reported in southern ontario so far.
