Replies to questions/comments I've been using nikon superior E for a loooooong time. So this is a very different bino for me. I occasionally borrowed my wife's Kowa. And as noted often some friends SV which brought me into the arena of saving up for a high end bino. As far as using them for a long time I would guess that would be the case but with the cold up here in Wisco I haven't had a chance to be at it all day. I got the 8x. If the 20 sounds like a lot it may just be my enthusiasm for jumping into alpha binos in general from the SE, which served me well for a very long time and now will move to my feeder binos as my office is on a river and I'll have the SFs in car and at work. As far as the snow glare I haven't noticed any issue in the short time I have had them. As far as better than SV, I wouldn't say that as both are amazing. The color just seemed more neutral than the SV which was my preference and the ergonomics were slightly better for me. They seemed to fall into my eyes better. Also seem to focus a bit faster than SV but for some I could see this as a negative. Seems to me one couldn't go wrong with either as both are amazing tools, just tiny little differences that make for good discussion.
