My pair is very sharp in the center, so I have nothing to complain about, except maybe for open-bridge ergonomics which would work better for me. I have the newer, softer eyecups working well together with my glasses. Swaros probably provide a cleaner, more consistent image towards the edges, Nikons can be a bit warmer, same for Leicas, but I stick to those 'ugly' industrial polymer Zeiss with their 'wow' FOV and brightness that blows me off my socks every time I look through them. I look forward to try the SF range and maybe the Nikon once, and I admit I haven't tried the 7x42 SLC neu, but I have looked through the 8s and 10s of all the alphas.</blockquote>
