This is some old info I have:

DEMERY, Archery ThomasLiberian. B. Liberia - D. Autumn 1891 Liberia. Son from Jackson Demery. Incorrectly the initials J & A.F. are used on some skins. He was scouted by Johann Büttikofer when in Liberia and came to RMNH. He arrived here by November 1888 and was trained as natural history collector and went back to Liberia by August 1889. He lived here along the Vey and speaks the Vey language as some English. By 1888 he collected at Western Liberia and Grand Cape Mount, and after January 1890 he collected in Sierra Leone.

°Col. for the collections made see Jackson Demery, as the collection where mixed collected.
