Identification

Blue-grey head, upperparts and throat, rufous underparts, grey legs and feet, dark eye, short dark bill.

Distribution

Endemic to Madagascar.

Taxonomy

Monotypic. Sometimes treated as subspecies of Forest Rock-Thrush.

Habitat

Dry forests and dry shrubland.
