• Black upperparts and tail
• Silvery-white underparts

Distribution

South-east Asia: endemic to the Philippines.

There are 3 subspecies^[1]:

• D. b. inexpectatum:

• Northern Philippines (Luzon, Mindoro and Catanduanes)

• D. b. viridissimum:

• Central Philippines (Negros and Guimaras)

• D. b. bicolor:

• Southern Philippines (Bohol, Leyte, Dinagat, Mindanao and Samar)

Habitat

Uncommon in forest canopy below 1000 m.

Behaviour

Diet

There is not a lot of information, but they are most likely to eat fruit, pollen and mistletoe nectar.
