- Dark Olive crown, face and upperparts
- Dusky wings
Distribution
South America: found in the Andes of south-eastern Peru (Huánuco to Puno) to western Bolivia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
An additional subspecies viridissimus is generally considered to be invalid[2].
Habitat
Humid montane and mossy cloud forests. Adjacent second growth.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet consists of insects; with the addition of small fruits, particularly mistletoe.
Breeding
There is currently no information on breeding.
