• White-tipped brownish tail

Distribution

Central America: endemic to Panama.

Taxonomy

This species is sometimes included in Gray-headed Dove (Leptotila plumbeiceps)^[1].

There are 2 subspecies:

• L. b. battyi:

• Isla Coiba (off south-central Panama)

• L. b. malae:

• Pacific slope of Panama (southern Veraguas and w Herrera); Cébaco Island

Habitat

High woodlands and forest, swamps.
